Postdoctoral position on Grapevine genome diversity analysis
Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CNB-CSIC) / Instituto de Ciencias de la Vid y del Vino (ICVV-CSIC, UR, Gobierno de La Rioja, Spain).

The position is open at CSIC to work within the frame of the research project EUI2008-03752 GrapeReSeq “Resecuenciacion a gran escala en el genero Vitis”. The postdoctoral scientist will participate in the analyses of genome sequences from different Vitis vinifera cultivars, characterization of genome variation, nucleotide diversity and allele mining as well as on the development of SNP platforms for grapevine genotyping and their use in the genetic analyses in grapevine.

Knowledge on genome analyses and bioinformatics is required while experience in genetics and molecular biology is highly desirable. The work will be performed in collaboration with research groups in Spain (Department of Bioinformatics and Genomics, CIPF), France, Germany and Italy.
