Job offer - postdoc position

A Postdoctoral position is available at the Department of Bioinformatics and Genomics, CIPF, Valencia, Spain. We seek for an applicant with experience in bioinformatics and genomics to work in a project of grapevine genomics.

The applicant must have a degree and a PhD in the area of biomedicine, oriented towards bioinformatics and genomics.

Experience in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics (Java, C/C++, PERL, PHYTON, etc.) is required as well as experience in web page development and web servers.
Experience in statistic analysis and programming skills in R will also be a valuable asset to the application.
Fluent English is essential.

The successful candidate will be integrated in a CENIT project of grapevine genomics and will be in charge of the analysis of microarray and next generation sequencing data. The project requires also of the development of software that will ultimately be available through web servers.
