CAMDA 2004, scheduled for November 10th through the 12th at the Hilton Hotel in Durham, North Carolina offers researchers from computer science, statistics, molecular biology, and other areas an opportunity to benefit from the critical evaluation of various techniques in microarray data analyses. All speakers present an analysis of the same data set, which helps the audience gain an understanding of current capabilities and problems in the field.
The conference includes a pre-conference seminar lead by Dr. Kevin Coombes, The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, 2 day vendor fair and poster fair. Accepted authors will be invited to present a 25 minute oral presentation. Those not invited to make an oral presentation may be invited to present a poster to be displayed at the 2 day poster fair. At the end of the conference, a "Best Presentation Award" will be determined by attendees and a judging committee.
All individuals and groups from both academic and commercial entities are invited to join the award competition.
All individuals are welcome to attend the conference without submitting a paper or poster.
Extended (five page maximum) abstracts must be submitted by July 30, 2004 (NO EXCEPTIONS ALLOWED). Oral and poster presenters will be notified by September 6, 2004
